Today I am going to show you a good technique of cooking brussels sprouts. You can modify the ingredients as you please, adding or subtracting if you want. The trick is roasting them and getting them brown and crispy.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds brussels sprouts Cleaned and halved or quartered
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grains of paradise
- 1/4 each red onion sliced thin
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons earth balance
- 1/2 each fresh lemon juice

- Heat large saute pan with olive oil. Add Brussels sprouts, onion, salt and grains of paradise. Cook until sprouts turn brown, string occasionally. When the sprouts start to turn golden brown add garlic and continue to cook. When sprouts are roasted and tender add earth balance and lemon juice and toss until butter is just melted. Serve immediately.
