Making Seitan

Today I am going to show you how to make seitan. This is a surprisingly easy ingredient to make, and once you get it down you won’t be buying the expensive stuff in the market anymore. Like tofu since this has no flavor, you can use any flavoring you want to to make it accompany any dish you are making.

I am going to use today’s seitan for the orange tofu recipe, so let me tell you the base you will need to start the dish, then you can build the flavors from here.

Chili

Today I am going to show you how to make my vegan chili recipe. You may be wondering why I am making chilli at the start of summer? Hotdogs are a summer staple, and I love chili cheese dogs, which is what I am having for Memorial Day. This tasty recipe is great for hot dogs in the summer or on a cold winter day warming you on the inside with crumbled salted crackers.

Peruvian inspired Kaniwa, quinoa, and amarath pilaf

Today I am going to make a Peruvian inspired kaniwa quinoa and amaranth pilaf. I am using three different grains in this pilaf but they are all interchangeable. I am also using an aji amarillo which is a sweet and spicy chili pepper used in Peruvian cooking. This recipe is gluten free, high in nutrition like iron and protein and easy to make.
